PLACES FOR POLLINATORS: HOW TO CREATE HABITAT FOR BUTTERFLIES, BEES, AND HUMMINGBIRDS - Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, 132 Botanical Gardens Drive, Boothbay, Maine

Come learn how to create habitat for butterflies, native bees, and hummingbirds in your yard, garden, field and farm habitats. This workshop will cover the basics of pollinator observation, identification, and ecology; pollinator habitat needs and environmental stressors; and how you can create a high value habitat in your own dooryard, farm, field, or forestland. This workshop will have a special emphasis on fostering habitat for our native bee populations, as well as a visit to the outdoor classroom of the Gardens to see butterflies and bees in the landscape.

This is a paid workshop and requires registering ahead of time, please visit www.mainegardens.org to register and buy tickets.
